P.O.D.’s Testify CD has a Reggae-ish feel to it. Now if I read a review that started like this, I’d be looking for another review to read real quick. But wait now, read on cuz Simon says! I like this CD a lot. P.O.D. has been around for a long time now. They know how to make music. Testify has a hardrock-reggae-rappin’ vibe throughout, with some slower songs also. The lyrics are infused with biblical meaning…they’re definitely not selling out to the “mainstream” radio. Testify sends a clear message about loving each other, finding strength and peace in GOD, and that there is an alternative to all the hatred and negativity in the world today. As usual, they have incredible rhymes (just as all of their previous Cds). They are amazing songwriters. Makes you want to sing along or try to in my case!
The one thing I really don’t like is when a CD does not come with lyrics. It should be a rule that all CD’s come with lyrics, or else, well uhhh, they just should!
I just want to say that I’m glad there are still bands that won’t turn away from GOD no matter what! P.O.D. endured this far. GOD bless em’ and let’s support them!

P.O.D. stands for payable on death. I thought that was very interesting when I found that out. Thanks for the advice about a youtube video. I will try that.

It would be nice if you could find a you tube video to add to this hub, of the group your talking about:) Known some others interested in this kind of Christian lyric, music. (it may be just me?, but I wasn't sure what P.O.D. meant, didn't know it was a band, thought it was an abreviation for something else?)
